BWI brings distinct and in depth knowledge of HUD funding programs such as Low Income Housing Tax Credits (4% and 9%), City HOME, Community Development Block Grant funding, FHLBI AHP, and other affordable housing funding sources. In addition, BWI is at the forefront of a new community investment program called Opportunity Zones.
Our team has a unique understanding of each state qualified allocation plan and affordable housing construction management processes and procedures.
BWI also has familiarity with HUD’s operating sources such as Project Based Vouchers, Continuum of Care funding, and ACC subsidy. Finally in expanding and diversifying its portfolio, BWI brings expertise in the areas of TIF Bond funding, New Market Tax Credits and Historical Tax Credits, in addition to conventional capital sources.
